WELCOME! We're easy to find. Look to the left as you enter the main doors and "Voila" - Gleneagle's beautiful, bright and cheerful library facility.
STAFF: Here to help you is Ms Leblond, our teacher-librarian and Mrs Hook, our library assistant.
HOURS: Our doors open from 8 am to 4 pm. The library is open and available to students throughout the school day.
READ: Come in and read a magazine in our comfy chairs or choose a novel to read for class or fun. We also have tons of books that support what you're learning in class. If you can't find what you're looking for, please ask - we're happy to assist you.
ACADEMIC LEARNING ENVIRONMENT: The only thing we ask in return is that you respect the need for others to work in a quiet setting. Food and drinks are not allowed. The library is also a classroom, so cell phone restrictions are in effect.
RESOURCES: Students are encouraged to take advantage of the many and varied resources the library has to offer in print and online.
SERVICES: A photocopier is available to students at a cost of 10 cents per page. We also offer colour printing (see librarian). Students may also use the library printer. When printing from library computers, the first copy of the day is free, additional pages are 10 cents each.
ACCESS: Your GO card doubles as a library card. If you don’t have it when signing out a book, please have your 6 digit student ID number memorized. Computer passwords are available from the library on a sticker, which we suggest you place in your student planner.
